Privacy notice
TypingOne provides typing lessons, tests, and practice. This notice describes the features implemented in this version. The site owner must complete their contact details and review this notice before public launch.
Practice without an account
We store up to 500 typing results in your browser, including time, speed, accuracy, lesson completion, and missed keys. Theme choices also stay in your browser. Guest history can be seen by other people using the same browser profile.
Custom practice text stays in page memory. We do not include it in saved results. Session titles, statistics, and missed-key counts are saved.
Optional accounts
Cloud accounts are currently not enabled on this installation. When enabled, Supabase processes your email, authentication session, and account practice results. Signed-in history is stored separately from guest history and synchronizes to the configured database. Network failures can leave results only on the device until you retry sync.
Optional accounts are intended for users 16 and older. Guest practice is available without an email or account. Managed school accounts and classroom reporting are not included in this version.
Hosting and technical records
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, requested URL, and technical logs to serve and secure the site. Retention and deployment configuration depend on the hosting account.
Advertising and analytics
No analytics script is included by default. Advertising scripts are disabled by default and only load when the owner enables them and the configured consent integration signals permission. A certified consent platform and appropriate regional privacy handling must be reviewed before advertising is activated.
Your choices
You can export or delete your typing history on the Progress page. Deleting history for a signed-in account also requests deletion of its cloud practice records. Clearing browser storage removes local guest data. For account deletion or other requests, contact the site owner through the Contact page.
Security and retention
Account data uses access policies that restrict records to their owner. No system can promise absolute security. The local application retains the latest 500 sessions. The owner must configure cloud retention and respond to deletion requests before offering accounts publicly.
